*How to start eating and exercising to improve your health.
*Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
*How to create an"action plan" for a healthier life.

F.A.I.R. an acronym for Fundamentals of Alcohol Intoxication Recognition is a critically acclaimed program designed to teach persons who sell or serve alcoholic beverages how to recognize intoxicated persons. This public service presentation, delivered by members of the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, is designed to teach those in the food and beverage industry how to recognize an intoxicated person, legal issues servers and bar owners may face if and when they serve an intoxicated person and how to identify and report fraudulent identification.
The Sheriff's Office is offering FAIR training free of charge on the second Saturday of each month.

This support group meets every other month and welcomes all looking for support in dealing with all types of lymphedema. Those attending the meetings are welcome to share their experiences with lymphedema, including forms of treatment and therapy. This new group has formed out of the need for honesty and support amongst mothers struggling with a mood and/or anxiety disorder that occurs during pregnancy, or after the birth of a new baby. This includes mothers struggling with depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Facilitated by Maureen Kellogg of Thompson's Social Work Department, Thompson Health Lactation Consultant/RN Courtney Phillips and a volunteer from the community, the group will offer moms a "safe space" to be transparent about motherhood, mental health, and all the little things in between, providing opportunities to talk with others who have been through or are currently walking through this same season of life.
