We are representatives of the Ontario County Youth Bureau, who administer the New York State Office of Children and Family Services funds within Ontario County. A citizens' advisory board, including adult and youth members, assists us in our work.

We strive to promote, establish and maintain a unified system of youth recreation and delinquency prevention programs throughout the County. We do this by networking with others who serve youth, both agencies and municipalities; by assessing the needs of youth; by coordinating youth services; by allocating Office of Children and Family Services funds for youth programs; and by evaluating their effectiveness.

We serve the children and youth of Ontario County, from birth through age 20. Our purpose is to provide comprehensive planning to ensure that the needs of youth are met, so that they can develop their full potential to become productive and fully integrated members of society.
