Tel-A-Tend is a program administered by the Ontario County Office for the Aging in conjunction with the Ontario County Sheriff's Office.

The program employs computer software which automatically calls senior citizen clients at the day(s) and time(s) that they have requested.  The calls are placed for one of two reasons, the first is to check on the welfare of the Client and the second is to remind the Client to take their medication.  The computer itself is located in, and monitored by the Ontario County Sheriff's Office 9-1-1 Center.

For more information on this program please read the Tel-A-Tend brochure by or contact the Ontario County Office for the Aging at 3010 County Complex Drive Canandaigua, NY 14424, or by phone at (585) 396-4040 or (315) 781-1321 or Fax: (585) 396-7490 or E-mail: onofa@co.ontario.ny.us
