Welcome to Cindy Vanderlee
Cindy Vanderlee has joined the Alternatives to Incarceration Advisory Board and is our school representative on the Board. Cindy is a Prevention Services Specialist for the Canandaigua City School District, working in substance abuse and violence prevention, education and intervention. Cindy received her Master's Degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in Manhattan. Before starting work with the Canandaigua School District three years ago, Cindy had worked for Social Services in Monroe County at the Crestwood Childrens Center as well as in a PINS Diversion Program in Brooklyn and a foster care agency in NYC. Cindy lives in Fairport where she has just purchased her first home. She enjoys photography, biking, hiking, rollerblading and camping. Cindy is looking forward to serving on the ATI Advisory Board because she can offer the school districts' perspective on issues as well as advising the schools what services and options are available from a prevention perspective for at-risk youth. Please join me in welcoming Cindy to the Board. We are pleased to have her join us and develop this link between the Board and the school(s). ~ Ginny Gumaer |
