How to Correct Streets and Addresses
The 9-1-1 Center is responsible for the review and update of all streets and addresses designated in the County. Each community has a staff person responsible for ROW Naming Forms for new or modified roads as well as any physical address changes (new, modified, removed, etc.). These are submitted to the County and then incorporated into the dispatch system and processed by the GIS Program for OnCOR.

If you are experiencing a problem with streets (e.g., a name is misspelled or the road is in the wrong location) in the OnCOR web-based mapping system, please contact the Ontario County GIS Program by either Email or phone (585-396-4482). Any issues with commercial GPS systems (Garmin, Tom Tom, etc.) or street websites can be resolved using this handy reference.
