TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES: (Illustrative only)
Washes walls, woodwork, bathroom fixtures and appliances, and windows;
Sweeps, mops and waxes floors;
Vacuums floors and carpets;
Dusts furniture, sills, fixtures, and other objects;
Cleans and polishes furniture and metal fixtures;
Gathers and disposes of refuse;
Performs a variety of cleaning tasks as needed;
Folds, counts, weighs and sorts linen, towels, gowns and clothing and arranges for their proper distribution;
Operates laundry equipment;
Keeps record of weight of each item;
Transports soiled and clean laundry;
Assists the resident in non-direct nursing related care;
Making and cleaning beds;
Assists in feeding of residents;
Distributes cleaning and routine nursing supplies;
Assists in transporting residents to other activities such as church services, dining room services, etc., within the Facility;
Assists in the labeling and storing of residents' clothes and valuables;
Assists in moving furniture, maintains residents' rooms as required.
