In Ontario County, emergency management services are those services provided by fire departments, emergency medical services (EMS) and disaster response organizations. Located in the Ontario County Safety Training Facility, a staff of five dedicated people provide assistance and leadership to 27 fire departments, 19 emergency medical service agencies, county government, and the 26 towns, villages and cities within Ontario County.

The Safety Training Facility is the County location for the majority of State and County fire, EMS, and law enforcement training. County government also uses this facility for many meetings and training programs. Annually, we are host to 30,000 plus half-day guests.
