  1. Mom-to-Mom Support Circle

    This new group has formed out of the need for honesty ans support amongst mothers struggling with a mood and/or anxiety disorder that occurs during pregnancy, or after the birth of a new baby, This includes mothers struggling with depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Facilitated by Maureen Kellogg of Thompson's Social Work Department, Thompson Health Lactation Consultant/RN Courtney Phillips and a volunteer from the community.     Free screening will be offered by Drs. A. David Peter, Joseph Talarico and Thomas Wormer of Advanced Surgical services in Canandaigua. Attendees will learn the causes and symptoms of a hernia as well as the benefits of minimally invasive hernia surgery using robotic assisted technology. Participants will be able to take part in a hands-on demonstration with Thompon's daVinci surgical robot.

  3. Memorial Day Weekend Crackdown

    Ontario County STOP-DWI Administrator Sue Cirencione announced today that Ontario County police agencies will participate in a special enforcement effort to crack down on impaired driving. The statewide STOP-DWI Crackdown efforts start on Friday, May 24th and will end on Tuesday, May 28th. Memorial Day is one of the busiest travel holidays of the year and marks the official start of summer. New York State Police, County Sheriffs and municipal law enforcement agencies will collaborate across the state and will be out in force in this coordinated effort to reduce the number of impaired driving-related injuries and deaths.
