This support group meets every other month and welcomes all looking for support in dealing with all types of lymphedema. Those attending the meetings are welcome to share their experiences with lymphedema, including forms of treatment and therapy. The group is facilitated by Angela Kiklowicz, a Thompson Health occupational therapist and licensed massage therapist who is certified in Complete Decongestive Therapy for the treatment of lymphedema. Cheri Sidoti and Farley Wagner, both physical therapists and certified mechanical diagnostic therapists with Thompson Health Rehabilitation Services, will present a free seminar to teach individuals with lower back pain about their spine and management of pain. The two will discuss spinal anatomy, spinal conditions, theories about lower back pain and basic management techniques. This stress reduction program is for people with ongoing illness or other sources of chronic stress. The Rev. Dr. Richard McCaughey and certified holistic stress management instructor Jennifer Klein focus on wholeness of mind, body and spirit through the reshaping of thoughts, emotions and stress responses.
