Operation Safe Child BIG hit at State Fair

Operation Safe Child

The Ontario County Sheriff's Office, in association with the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services, The New York State Sheriff's Association, and many other concerned partners across the State are pleased to bring you Operation Safe Child..

We will be issuing Safe Child Card's on the following dates at the locations listed:

• The following Saturdays at Eastview Mall from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm
• November 19
• November 26
• December 3
• December 10

Statistics show that 34 percent of parents in the United States do not know their child's exact height, weight and eye color. And, when a child is reported missing, time can be the greatest adversary. Possessing up-to-date photographs and detailed information about a child can prove to be important proactive measures that can greatly assist local law enforcement officials to quickly respond to a child's disappearance......
