NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED LOCAL LAW OF ONTARIO COUNTY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Board of Supervisors of Ontario County at the Supervisors' Chambers, interim location Ontario County Safety Training Facility, 2914 County Road 48, Town of Hopewell, Canandaigua, New York, on the 15th day of February, 2018, at 6:30 p.m. concerning proposed Local Law No. 1 (Intro.) of 2018 entitled, "A Local Law Opting Out of Tax Exemption for Certain Energy Systems", which provides:

a.     This Local Law is enacted pursuant to Section 487 of the New York State Real Property Tax Law, as most recently amended by Chapter 336 of the laws of 2017.
b.     Pursuant to RPTL Section 487(8)(a)(ii), Ontario County, by this local law, provided that the tax exemption under RPTL Section 487 shall not be applicable to county taxes with respect to any micro-hydroelectric energy system, fuel cell electric generating system, micro-combined heat and power generating equipment system, or electric energy storage equipment or electric energy system constructed subsequent to the effective date of this local law. 
 
At such time and place all persons interested in the subject matter thereof will be heard concerning the same.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED LOCAL LAW OF ONTARIO COUNTY 
 
 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Board of Supervisors of Ontario County at the Supervisors' Chambers, interim location Ontario County Safety Training Facility, 2914 County Road 48, Canandaigua, New York, on the 15th day of February 2018, at 6:30 PM concerning proposed Local Law No. two (2) (Intro.) of 2018, entitled, "Establishing Residency Requirements for Correction Officers and superseding Public Officers Law, Section 3(1) and Local Law 8 of 1999, as amended by Local Law 1 of 2016"  
Which Provides:
For an adequate pool of applicants for the position of Ontario County Corrections Officer, by allowing such applicants, and Correction Officers once hired, to reside within Ontario County or any county that is contiguous to the County of Ontario. 

At such time and place all persons interested in the subject matter thereof will be heard concerning the same.
