NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED LOCAL LAW OF ONTARIO COUNTY

            NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Board of Supervisors of Ontario County at the Supervisors' Chambers, interim location Ontario County Safety Training Facility, 2914 County Road 48, Canandaigua, New York, on the 3rd day of August,  2017, at 6:30 p.m. concerning proposed Local Law No. 5 Intro of   2017, entitled

" A local law of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Ontario, repealing the wireless communications surcharge authorized by Article Six of the County Law of the State of New York; and imposing the wireless communications surcharges pursuant to the authority of Tax Law § 186-g.” which provides:

 For the implementation of the wireless communications surcharges pursuant to the authority of Tax Law § 186-g, and abolishing the wireless communications surcharge authorized by Article Six of the County Law of the State of New York. 

At such time and place all persons interested in the subject matter thereof will be heard concerning the same.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED LOCAL LAW OF ONTARIO COUNTY



NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Board of Supervisors of Ontario County at the Supervisors' Chambers, interim location Ontario County Safety Training Facility, 2914 County Road 48, Canandaigua, New York, on the 3rd day of August, 2017, at 6:30 p.m. concerning proposed Local Law No. 6 (Intro.) of 2017, entitled " The Ontario County Room Occupancy Tax Law”, which provides:

The intent of this local law shall be to continue the Ontario County Room Tax for Three (3) Years, imposing a tax on facilities providing lodging on an overnight basis and provide for the collection thereof in order to make funds available for the official tourism promotion agency as designated by the County.

The effective date of this local law is September 1, 2017.

At such time and place all persons interested in the subject matter thereof will be heard concerning the same.

NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF LOCAL LAW

            PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT on July 13, 2017, the Ontario County Board of Supervisors adopted Local Law No. 3 (Intro.) of 2017,

 "A Local Law Creating the Position of Deputy Director of Human Resources and Abolishing the Position of Director of Employee Relations”

 which provides for the creation of the position of Deputy Director of Human Resources and abolishing the position of Director of Employee Relations.

The effective date of this local law shall be immediately upon the filing of the local law with the Secretary of State. This law shall remain in effect until further action of the Ontario County Board of Supervisors.

 A copy of the actual text of this local law is available for inspection at the Office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors during regular office hours.

NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF LOCAL LAW

 PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT on July 13, 2017, the Ontario County Board of Supervisors adopted Local Law No. 4 Intro. of 2017, which provides:

             For the application of the Management Compensation Program, as amended June 22, 2017, by Resolution No. 424-2017, providing cost of living and step increases to those eligible, for the year 2018.

The effective date of this local law is January 1, 2018. 

            This Local Law is adopted subject to a permissive referendum of the qualified electors of the County of Ontario in accordance with the Municipal Home Rule Law of the State of New York.  Such referendum may be commenced by the filing of a petition.

A copy of the actual text of this local law is available for inspection at the Office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors during regular office hours.
