    Citizens Police Academy
    The Ontario County Sheriff's Office will be sponsoring their 9th Annual Citizen Academy from every Thursday, September 7th-October 16th, 2017  from 6pm-9pm.  Topics being offered are:  The history of the Sheriff's Office, and 911 Functions, Road Patrol, Corrections, Special Teams including:  K-9, Emergency Response Team, and the Crime Scene Unit.  A taser, handgun and K-9 demonstrations were included.   In addition, the District Attorney, STOP-DWI, and Coroners Office are scheduled to make presentations.
